Wilson Tan

Experience
Wilson has a total of over 30 years experience in the chemicals and polymers industry. Prior to setting up Planet Asia in 1995, Wilson had worked for US based Monsanto Chemical Co. for almost 15 years, of which the last 5 years was in the capacity as Country Manager of the Singapore subsidiary.
During his term of service with Monsanto, Wilson underwent extensive polymer technical training at Springfield, MA, USA; Louvre-la-Neuve, Belgium; Yokkaichi, Japan; and Melbourne, Australia.
He also served as Executive Council member of the Singapore Chemical Industries Council for 4 years and was involved in the organisation of the ASEAN Chemical Industries Club Conferences for the years 1993, 1998, 1999 and 2000. He was also involved in the Asia Pacific Responsible Care 2000 Conference in the capacity of Chairman of the Publicity sub-committee.
As an entrepreneur, he has been involved in numerous business ventures all over the world and built an extensive network of valuable business contacts globally. His passion now is to help create a vibrant business organization that seeks to help the poor and needy and to focus on sustainability ventures that will help the world be a better place to live.

Katherine Chin

Experience
Joined Planet Asia in 1995.
Katherine has extensive sales and sourcing experience covering full range of industrial chemicals, polymers and medical / pharmaceutical products in Singapore, Malaysia, China, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas. Acquired knowledge of GMP quality systems and quality audits for medical manufacturing facilities. Her focus has been in the area of medical polymers business development as well as building up the performance chemicals business unit of the company.
Significant Achievements
She has also developed very extensive knowledge in international trade, overseeing shipments of goods to and from all over the world and in the process gained an in-depth knowledge of documentary credits and use of a whole array trade instruments.
David Cheng Wenbin

Experience
Joined Planet Asia in 2003 as Market Development Manager, Greater China.
Assumed regional responsibilities and relocated to Singapore in 2011. In 2018 David assumed his current position as Business Director, covering overall business management responsibilities for all plastics and polymer products focused on the industrial market segments. Prior to joining Planet Asia, he had over 6 years experience working for one of the largest Chinese injection molding machine manufacturers as well as an European manufacturer of auxiliary production equipment for the plastics processing industry.

He has been one of the key drivers contributing to the massive growth of the company’s polymers business unit despite major economic setbacks in the region.
